We are continuing to grow in the Oklahoma market and are looking to add experienced construction materials testers to our team. Applicants should have a willingness to learn and grow in their career and have a strong work ethic. Senior Construction Materials Technician will be hired on a full time or seasonal basis in our Admore office based on level of experience and workload.

What You Will Do :

You will be part of our Materials Testing team within our Construction Services Group.

• Performing field sampling and testing on soils, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt materials.
• Perform required Special Inspections on vertical construction such as reinforcing steel, masonry, adhesive anchor installation, and weld inspections.
• Verify compliance with the plans, specifications, and schedule of materials.
• Prepare and produce project documentation for private, municipal, county, OKDOT and federal projects.
• Documentation will include field testing, and inspection reports, helping with cost estimates on projects, and other relevant project documentation.
• You may also help with proposals, project budgets, schedules, and may be involved in geotechnical investigation, construction inspection, pavement management, and a variety of other technical related activities.

You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Due to the physical nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50 lbs. – 75 lbs. periodically. You’re required to work with your hands, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. At times you may be working at or on uneven terrain, slopes, in confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.
