The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

The Solutions Architect ERP is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions within ERP systems to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and best practices in the ERP domain.

Job Responsibilities

• Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports.
• This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Business / System Analysis, Solution Design & System Architecture
• Sets overall architecture in alignment with management for ERP applications.
• Capture, analyze, validate, consolidate, communicate and document the needs and expectations of customers for new IT solutions or enhancements.
• Translate business requirements, identify and specify functional and non-functional requirements for the new solution or for the enhancement.
• Lead the analysis of the overall interrelationships of the new software solution including processes, structures, data and user interfaces.
• Support the modelling of business processes in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Prepare solution proposals based on these functional and non-functional requirements and collaborate in the creation of the business case documents.
• Prepare evaluations and presentations of alternative solutions considering strategic, technological and financial aspects.
• Document scope and create system specifications.
• Participate in system design reviews to ensure demand-driven and business-related system designs.
• Solution Implementation
• Lead the implementation of specified systems or changes in collaboration with internal and external resources.
• Lead the creation of test plans including collaboration in the creation of test cases both for system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Complete system testing, monitor & assess UAT and complete test exit reports.
• Evaluate residual risks after the testing.
• Prepare change & release plans and present to CAB for approval.
• Coordinate the deployment with internal and external resources including appropriate testing and execution of roll-back plan if required.
• System Maintenance
• Ensure monitoring of application operations; coordinates and monitors all activities that serve application availability, recoverability (continuity), performance and resource consumption, including licensing.
• Ensure system updates including bug fixes are deployed regularly following our change and release process.
• Ensure documentation is updated in our knowledge base.
• 2nd / 3rd Level Support.
• Process assigned tickets according to priority.
• Trouble shoots issues and drives it to a quick resolution.
• Escalates and distributes tickets to contracted IT Service Providers if issue is beyond own skill / experience level.
• Continuous Improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within our own IT domain (e.g. software design, architecture, application development, integration and maintenance processes), but also across supported business domains.
• Proactively suggest and implement enhancements to existing business processes and applications to improve functionality, performance and user experience.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions and approaches.
• Share knowledge with other IT team members by filling our knowledge base and active participating in team meetings.
