Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager / Practice Builder to expand our Land Development practice in Temecula, CA!
Responsibilities
The qualified individual will lead a Land Development / Surface Water team while building and managing relationships with key clients
Leadership responsibilities include : Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a land development practice
Our Project Managers / Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor
The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
15+ years of relevant experience leading / managing projects
Registered Professional Engineer ( license
Extensive contacts and relationships with local clients in the public and / or private sector
Experience with detailed site layout and grading; drainage and stormwater management design; utility design; and erosion and sediment control design.
Experience with codes and regulations, interpreting plans, designing stormwater facilities, site grading and permitting for land disturbance
Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
