Part Time Instructor Art and Design (POOL)
Position Title : Part Time Instructor Art and Design (POOL)
Classification Title : F3
Hourly Rate : $752 per load unit
Close Date : Open Until Filled
Position Type / Employee Class : Part-Time Instructor
Instructor Status : This is a part-time instructor position, non-represented and non-benefited.
Campus Location : Bend
Primary Purpose : The Part-Time Instructor provides instruction in Art & Design courses, directs student discussion, and evaluates student performance in the classroom, studio, or lab under the direction of the Program Director and Fine Arts & Communication Department Chair.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in area of discipline, using approved course outcome guides.
- Adhere to instructional plans which guide student instruction according to established student learning outcomes.
- Hold at least one scheduled office hour per class per week for student help sessions and program assistance.
- Assist with program outreach as needed.
- Cooperate with full-time faculty efforts to revise and standardize curricula for classes within the certificate program.
- Participate in course assessment.
- Attend regular trainings as scheduled by the department or College.
- Utilize College tools and resources, including the Learning Management System and Disability Services software, to support teaching activities as appropriate.
- Perform other essential job functions as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.

Ergonomic Requirements : Ability to work in classroom and office environments using computers, white boards, projectors, and other basic office equipment. All individuals are required to be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
